Unified Brand Identity Design
Dakoyta Greenman, founder of Westwood AI and Roof Ranger, approached Sol Studios with a vision: two brands, different industries, but a single cohesive identity system. Westwood AI specializes in AI-powered smart solutions, while Roof Ranger focuses on high-tech, drone-powered roof inspections.

The goal was to create a unified brand ecosystem—professional, modern, and scalable—while giving each brand its own unique voice.



Objectives

  1. Develop a cohesive identity system that connects the two brands visually


  2. Reflect innovation, trust, and precision across tech and construction sectors


  3. Ensure flexibility for use in print, digital, merchandise, and future marketing campaigns


  4. Build brand recognition while allowing Roof Ranger to retain a slightly more industrial tone



Design Approach

Color Palette

A six-color palette was created to serve as the foundation for both brands:

  • Slate Indigo (#4A4E69) – Stability and professionalism

  • Beacon Yellow (#FFC72C) – Energy and innovation

  • Iron Black (#1F1F1F) – Bold and grounded

  • Dusty Ivory (#F4F3EE) – Neutral warmth

  • True White (#FFFFFF) – Clean and minimal

  • Signal Orange (#FF6B35) – Action-oriented highlight

This shared palette provides consistency while allowing vibrant accents for marketing materials and digital applications.

Typography

  • Lato – Shared across both brands for clarity and readability

  • Ofelia Display – Featured for Westwood AI headlines to convey tech-forward elegance

  • DIN 2014 Narrow Bold – Exclusive to Roof Ranger, providing a strong industrial feel suited to field services

Logo Design & Visual System

  • Westwood AI: Features a neural-inspired mark representing intelligence, connectivity, and future-forward innovation.

  • Roof Ranger: Incorporates a drone silhouette and architectural elements to emphasize inspection and precision.

Supporting iconography was developed for each brand to highlight services such as robotics & automation, mapping, and inspection.
