Brand Identity Design

Bria Baker, the visionary behind Paris Out West: For the Everyday People, approached me to create a bold, cohesive brand identity for her soon-to-launch clothing brand. With a focus on unisex styles (starting with women’s pieces), Paris Out West aims to deliver timeless, recognizable, authentic, and fresh designs that cater to everyday people. The collection features versatile pieces, including t-shirts, bomber jackets, top & bottom sets, and dresses.

The challenge was to craft a visual identity that reflects the brand’s values and resonates with its target audience while standing out in the highly competitive fashion industry.






My Approach

  • Brand Discovery & Strategy
    I began by collaborating with Bria to understand her vision, values, and the message behind Paris Out West. Through brainstorming sessions, I identified the brand’s core themes of inclusivity, authenticity, and timelessness, ensuring the visual identity would reflect these values.
  • Logo Design
    The logo was designed to be versatile and recognizable, with variations to suit different mediums. It balances boldness and simplicity, aligning with the brand’s timeless aesthetic.
  • Color Palette
    The chosen color palette is a blend of neutral and earthy tones, combined with subtle pops of color for freshness and modernity. This scheme creates a harmonious and approachable feel.
  • Typography
    A clean, sans-serif typeface was paired with a timeless serif for a dynamic yet cohesive look. The typography enhances the brand’s sense of authenticity and versatility.
  • Supporting Elements
    Custom icons and graphic assets were developed to reinforce the brand’s identity, providing additional tools for marketing and product design.
  • Brand Guide
    A detailed brand guide was created, outlining the use of logos, colors, typography, and supporting assets to ensure consistency across all platforms.

    The completed brand identity for Paris Out West successfully encapsulates the essence of the brand: timeless, authentic, and fresh. The cohesive system positions the brand to launch with a strong, recognizable presence and provides Bria with the tools to build a lasting connection with her audience.
